We went out dolphin watching and saw some whales. They put on quite a show.

Sunset in HB

A funny thing happened.  I was watching the sun get lower while out on a bike ride.  I looked at the sun, the clouds and then my watch.  I was going to have to hurry.  I pedaled back to the house, changed quickly grabbed my camera and tripod and jumped in my car.

At the beach I paid for parking because I was short on time and rushed down to the sand setting up the tripod as I went.  I was in place and taking pictures when I noticed the -E- in the LCD screen on the camera letting me know the memory card was at home plugged into my computer.

I grabbed this shot with my phone proving that the best camera is the one you have with you (and working).

Jessica and the Rainbow

Rebecca calls me frantically telling me to grab my camera and go outside the house.  I go out and she pulls up to the curb and tells me to get in.  She drops me at the corner with Jessica and tells me there is a rainbow.  Unfortunately there are above ground power lines everywhere in HB...

Port Townsend Salmon Club

This series of pictures, including The Early Ferry, Mt. Rainier Sunrise, Point Hudson Breakwater, and Old Ferry Dock were taken at sunrise in Port Townsend on new year's eve.   It was below freezing when I got back to the house, don't know what when I left.  I love the view of Mt. Rainier from Port Townsend and I put it in any of the pictures I could.  I still haven't figured out what the Salmon Club is.
