Cut the principal in half!
The PTA sponsored a magic show at school where the main attraction was the magician cutting the principal in half. We hope he used a special saw.

Bad Day to Own a Boat
This unfortunate soul lives on his boat and had moored it to a buoy
last month while he went to Las Vegas. Unfortunately for him the buoy
was outside the harbor and a storm came in while he was away. It sat
on the beach for almost a month until this day (March 20) when the
moon was the closest to earth it had been in a decade and the tide was
the highest it had been in a decade...

HBPL Spiral Ramp
I have always liked the '70s decor inside the library. The fountains can be deafening at times but the white noise is definitely a good thing.

Amsterdam Bicycles
Bicycles are everywhere in Amsterdam. It is really a wonder to behold
that more people are not run over on the streets by bikes. It is a
fairly small city by LA standards and very flat so you can get just
about everywhere on bike in a reasonable time. Despite the narrow
streets they have dedicated bike lanes separate from the street in
many places. It really is a great place to ride a bike.

The Albrecht Family
The girls will probably never do a silly pose for me again but this is a classic. I had a great visit and really enjoyed getting to know the girls a bit. Last time I met them they were still babies. Now they are wonderful young ladies. Greetings from Onkel Brett.
