typical market where Thais buy food, the night bazaar and some roadside
food stands.
Food is everywhere. Usually hot , sometimes weird, and almost always
good. After eating in the hotel for the first couple days in Bangkok,
we have eaten mostly from the market or roadside stands since. Many
apartments here don't have a kitchen because cooked food is available
everywhere. A typical meal costs about $1.
The night bazaar is a nightly collection of people selling stuff. A lot
of tourist stuff, but Thais like it too. Of course food is everywhere.
Every evening they bring out their carts and set up shop and every night
they shut down and disappear.
